Week Fifteen: Happy Holidays & Sad Days (pt 2)
Hello world, its been a while since my mouth spewed out understanding words…probably like a month and one week now. I was busy getting a perm.
Now I am back in all its glory..but not for long..point is I am back to pretty much review what this year was and what it wasn’t, who died and who also died and other pointless stuff that will make you want to vomit and possibly vomit again until you get your last meal of funions out of your stomach.
With that said, lets have a moment of silence for the notable deaths of 2010; Comedian Robert Schimmel, Golden girl Rue McClanahan, Slipknot member Paul Gray, child actor Gary Coleman, another comedian Greg Giraldo, actor Dennis Hopper, WCW wrestler Chris Kanyon, Fashion designer Alexander McQueen, another another comedian Leslie Nielsen, another actor Corey Haim and the most infamous author J.D. Salinger.
I hope you knew who those people are cause if not…your should join them.
If you think about it, more notable deaths happened this year compared to last year. Everyone who died in 2009 was pretty much over shadowed by Michael Jacksons death which I found was very uncalled for, he was a great musician but he still touched little boys and Idontcarewhatyousay.
Negativity stops here.
This year, it was the year of the beard..at least for me and Joaquin Phoenix but it was also the year of tiger woods cheating on his wife and ironically enough it was also the year of the tiger itself whom may very well be extinct in 20 more years sadly. It was the year Michael Jackson came back from the dead and made a new album and died again. It was the year no great shows or concerts graced my eyes but it was also the year I finally figured out who I am. It was the year Canada won the most gold medals at the Winter Olympics in Olympic history. It was the year Lost ended and my life felt useless but most importantly it was the year NASA announced the discovery of new arsenic-based life form in California anndd thats just the start of changes to come into this world.
Now that the new year is ahead, I decided 2011 is going to be ‘the year of the straight edge (and positivity - for real this time)’ for me, so that means it going to be better than 2010. 2010 was alright and all but 2011 is going to be way better.. I have a feeling.
You know that feeling you get when you know something good is coming, I feel like that’s exactly what is going to happen in ‘11..Cause now you can say ‘I live in year 11’ but also because big things are coming and that whole man finding a cure to HIV pretty much says ‘change is coming’.
So I hope I have grabbed your attention here today and now I am going to throw it out of the window.
Like always for the second year in a row, I present to you one of my favorite Christmas songs, whom actually is one of my friends..well one of them is but you will have to guess that part.
I will see you in year 11.
Happy Holidays…and sad days.
